Z

Zoe, the Zebra zestfully munches on grass in Zimbabwe. Her zig-zag stripes camouflage her from over zealous predators and zoo keepers.

I guess if I really thought this through, I should have drawn a zoo, but I kind of did throughout this month!

Y

Young Yaks often yell to their friend the Yeti in the yellow sun of the new year.

Free Day

It's hard to believe that Namblopono is almost over and I haven't missed a day. No cheating here. I doodled a bit today, but nothing worth sharing. I'm going to take my free time and peruse a craft book or two before bed. Tomorrow I challenge the letter "Y".

T/U

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I sure am tired after all of that hard work. Here is the turkey that I sketch really quick on some scrap paper at work yesterday, as well as, my submission for the letter "U".

Boris the Turkey.
Sorry no alliteration on that one -- he just seemed like a Boris to me.

Starlight the Unicorn.
I just couldn't think of a name that started with "U". I'm tired.

T

I did draw a animal for today, but I'm too tired to post it. I was so busy at work and now we're cleaning for Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll have time tomorrow night to catch up with my doodles. Happy Thanksgiving!

Free Day

It's Monday, so that means it's a free day. I'm going to take advantage of it and take a little break. I actually had a good day at work. I didn't get nearly what I wanted done and I'm okay with that.

Q

Quail

Interesting day today. I had a sobbing attack at a craft fair when I found my mom talking to a 92 year old woman, who looked liked my grandma. It'll 11 years this Christmas and my heart still aches.

P

Portia the porcupine.

I don't anything else today. This weekend ended with me crying as I left work, which was appropriate, since that's how it started. Next week does not bode well either.

Oliver the Octopus finds a literary oasis when pouring over old books from the ocean library.

Having trouble with the alliteration today, sorry.

M

Milo does not look like a very menacing mouse, but his means of destruction make the life of Mr. and Mrs. Miller miserable. Milo munches on many of the Miller's manufactured mentionables. Sometimes Milo use maple syrup for more taste.

Chicago

My oldest cousin moved to Chicago a few weeks ago. We went to help him move in, so I took some photos while I was there. A little birdie visited his window sill.

Today I am forgoing my little alliteration b/c I drew two animals and I actually took more than a few seconds on them. I sketched them in a few minutes. Enjoy!

Ignacious the inchworm imagined the impossibility of ingesting an entire Idared apple, instead his idle intake amounted to an inch-sized hole. It certainly was not his intention.

Free Day

Today is a free day from our Nambloplano challenge (the alphabet). I hope you have all been enjoying my quick little sketches. It's really to help me keep up with a doodle a day -- and it's working! Today I am going to share some photos I took of the Sand Hill Cranes in San Pierre.

Today is brought to you by the letter "B"

Beatrice, a bumbling bumblebee, was buzzing around over a bluebell blossom. Before she could brace herself, a blustery wind blew her behind straight into a bubbling river bank. By chance, she braced herself, bouncing instead into a bed of baby begonias.
