what's your favorite game to play?

my favorite game to play is actually a nintendo game. i started playing it in the 80s when i had my first computer. it was on a nice big 4.5 inch floppy disc. remember the ones that when you put them in you had to type in a password (for each game) to get it to work? it BUBBLE BOBBLE! i'm really excited b/c three years ago when i got my wii i discovered that it was a downloaded game off the nintendo store. of course i bought right away. my friend kelli and i would play it for hours way back when, so when she visits we usually try to get at least one game in. i still play it over, and over and over...

if you could have chosen your name, what would you have picked?

growing up i would often think of a new name for myself. i really liked dawn b/c she was my favorite character in the babysitter's club books. now that i'm older i really think that my name suits me well. my mom wanted to name me lindsay since her name is linda, but my gram would have none of that. then she thought (will help from gram of course) to name me after both my gram and grandpa. she named me april after the month of my grandma's birth and my middle name is eugena after my grandpa, eugene. since i was little they would call me april gene, my aunt still calls me that. i really don't see me being anyone other than april.

if you had to choose, which reality tv show would you be on?

i would like to be on the amazing race. i know that i'm in any kind of physical shape to actually be on the show, but i'd really love to visit all of the countries and experience the culture even if it's for a brief amount of chaotic time. it's a great show and slightly educational.

in what television-show home would you want to live?

i could only think of a movie home. i would want to live in the cullen's house from twilight. it's full of windows in the middle of the forest. it would be inside outdoor living. i would want it to be in the woods, and back up to the beach. i'd love to look and listen to the water and enjoy the beauty of the forest.

i have no idea what i'm thinking, that's the first thing that popped into my head. it's probably a better stripper name, but i really don't think they're that creative. don't they mostly go by candy or destiny...?

this is easy too. i'm not much of a drinker, so i don't really have one. i like girly/fruity drinks, but i don't really drink much at all.

i'm really excited to be listening to the two owls in my backyard hooting back and forth. at least one of them is a great horned owl. we haven't had owls in our area for years. i can remember being little and listening to them at night and now they are back for a bit. eeek!

what are you reading now?

this is easy, nothing. i read in spurts, sometimes i have really long dry spells. i was doing really good. i had read about 5 of the sookie stackhouse novels and just stopped in the middle of one. i needed a break. and right now i have no motivation to get back in to it. hopefully i will soon b/c i really do enjoy reading.

what talent or skill do you wish you had?

this one was easy. i wish i could sing. good. i love to sing in the car or on rockband. i've loved to sing since i was a little girl, but i'm just not good enough. i'm an alto and can only sing low and even that isn't in tune.

who is your kryptonite?

i guess i'm not really sure what this means. i think that kryptonite was bad for superman, but it was an object, not a person. i would think that my kryptonite would be mean people and really stupid drivers. i hate unsafe drivers. just today, my mom was losing traction going up a hill, but there was an SUV right on her tail. when he could he passed her and honked the horn. i flicked him off and my mom honked at him, so i guess we became mean over it. it's really upsetting, that people get in cars and think they're suddenly invincible, when in realty, it's probably one of the most dangerous things to do.
