Interesting day today. I had a sobbing attack at a craft fair when I found my mom talking to a 92 year old woman, who looked liked my grandma. It'll 11 years this Christmas and my heart still aches.

I don't anything else today. This weekend ended with me crying as I left work, which was appropriate, since that's how it started. Next week does not bode well either.

Noodles the Poodle is one of the nicest dogs in the neighborhood. Now and then she can be a nuisance, for she enjoys nibbling on her owner's Nikes and napping on the couch.

Milo does not look like a very menacing mouse, but his means of destruction make the life of Mr. and Mrs. Miller miserable. Milo munches on many of the Miller's manufactured mentionables. Sometimes Milo use maple syrup for more taste.

Chicago

My oldest cousin moved to Chicago a few weeks ago. We went to help him move in, so I took some photos while I was there. A little birdie visited his window sill.

Leopold the lion likes to leap over lizards late at night. He leisurely lounges all day long, lapping water lakeside for refreshment.

Today I am forgoing my little alliteration b/c I drew two animals and I actually took more than a few seconds on them. I sketched them in a few minutes. Enjoy!

Jack rabbits are jumpy, jittery, jolly creatures. Jasper was just that. His hijinks had justified his nickname, Jester.

Ignacious the inchworm imagined the impossibility of ingesting an entire Idared apple, instead his idle intake amounted to an inch-sized hole. It certainly was not his intention.

Henrietta would have been a happy hippo, if it weren't for the hassle of that harassing bird on her behind.

Glomer the gopher, gets giddy whenever he gets a glance of glorious green grapes. He gladly gobbles them up.

Free Day

Today is a free day from our Nambloplano challenge (the alphabet). I hope you have all been enjoying my quick little sketches. It's really to help me keep up with a doodle a day -- and it's working! Today I am going to share some photos I took of the Sand Hill Cranes in San Pierre.

Ferrets can be found foraging for food throughout the day. Fruit was Frankie's favorite -- figs to be exact.

Ernie was about to embark on a extremely anticipated expedition to the edge of the east Ethiopian desert. He was exhausted on his excursion, but eager to listen to his echo in such an empty place.

Daphne the duck reveled in death defying high dives. She'd dress in her goggles and then drop like a dime right into the deep water.

Carmen the crocodile lays calmly by a creek in the Congo, dreaming of dancing the Cha-Cha in a coral colored skirt while playing the castanets.

Beatrice, a bumbling bumblebee, was buzzing around over a bluebell blossom. Before she could brace herself, a blustery wind blew her behind straight into a bubbling river bank. By chance, she braced herself, bouncing instead into a bed of baby begonias.

Astrid was a little ashamed of her annoyingly large beak. The absurd nose aggravated her allergies. Allegra did not help, so for relief she move abroad to Amsterdam. The abundant fresh air was a welcome appeasement to her sinuses.
