i watched a bit of hoarders on TLC tonight. i always wonder what those people would do in the event of a house fire. we've always grown up with the question: what would you grab if your house was on fire? i've been there. i grabbed my mom, my dogs and my purse. that's it. i got the hell out of there. i always wonder if a hoarder would just be content to die in their home. if they can't live without all of their belongings like they say, would they chose death?

yikes. i cannot watch that show. i find myself yelling things at the tv like, "it's ROTTEN! throw it OUT!" it makes me feel stressed. :)
I agree. I can't watch it either. I tried a few episodes once, and when they found the third dead and decomposed cat under all this lady's stuff, I couldn't watch it anymore.
yea once there's feces and dead things i have to turn the channel. i can handle the clutter. i'm interested in the psych aspect of it.
